From One Consumer to Another
The following steps have helped us in our recovering to remission.
-
Admitting illness
-
Spirituality
-
Taking medication as prescribed daily
-
Taking responsibility for one's own actions
-
Setting up a program oneself can work
-
Forgiving first yourself then others
-
Seeing a counselor as well as a psychiatrist
-
Using sense of humor as a non-prescription medicine
-
Each morning, before going out into the world, putting on a pair of rose
colored glasses
From the steps above take only what may help you and leave the rest. Each of
us is different.
