Lending Library
We have a substantial library of books and other materials on mental health
topics available for members to borrow free of charge. Please stop by our office
Monday - Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM or prior to the NAMI monthly meeting at 7 PM on
the 3rd Monday of the month.

affected her family. Thanks to Janssen Pharmaceutica for providing this to us.
New Booklets Available

In the NAMI-HC library, we now have copies of a NAMI booklet,
Resources for Families. Caregivers, and Youth, which lists:
- Section I - Books about brain disorders in children and adolescents
- Section 2 - Audio-visual materials about brain disorders in children and
adolescents
- Under Ohio Revised Code, people with mental illness have the right to:
- Respect
- Confidentiality
- Access to records
- No discrimination or prejudice
- Decide about taking medications
- Privacy from secret observation
- Independent (self-paid) consultation
- Agree to or refuse each service in plan
- Reasons for termination or denial of service
- File a grievance (with help if requested)
