Volunteer Opportunities
We work through the efforts of dedicated volunteers. We not only appreciate
their service but respect each person's comfort level both in terms of time and
training.
Current volunteer opportunities include:
- Team Member of the PR/Marketing Team
- Team Member of the Education/Support Team
- Team Member of the Advocacy Team
- Committee Member of the Forensic Committee
- Special event committees: NAMIFest; Candlelight Vigil
- Committee member for the 2007 NAMIWALKS for the Mind of America Planning
Team
- Board member
- Party Committee--help with 3 parties/year for residents at Summit
Behavioral Healthcare
- Office Volunteer, help with mailings, organize library and resource
materials

To volunteer:
- pick a favorite time and type of volunteering, like "help with mailings,"
- pick an interest to occupy your time if times are slow (cards, reading,
peruse our library)
